I ordered some wood as I was building a decking platform. I understood I had to wait 3 weeks for delivery, that was fine.
Delivery arrived but with only two thirds of the wood. What was missing was the wood for the frame so I couldn’t start work. I asked the delivery guy where was the rest and he just said they didn’t have enough and it was coming from another store. When, he didn’t know.
No second delivery, this is where the big issue is. No contact what so ever from Wickes. Tried to call them over 100 times, 3 times I got through and after pushing the correct numbers a voice said customer service was shut, although I rang in opening hours. I ended up sending an email.
So I’m sitting here days later, Wickes haven’t called or emailed to let me know when the rest of the wood is being delivered. Nothing!
Never had such bad service and I do internet shopping a lot. Would not use again. Steer clear.
