Very easy to work with, used a pair of cloth scissors to trim it. It’s only been about 2 1/2 weeks now but my fire burns 24 hours a day and it still looks like when I installed it. Seems like it should be thicker, maybe the old ones got “fluffy”, if that was the case then 5/5.
