It was actually pretty easy (although more costly than I had hoped) to put new glass into my insert.
Two phone calls and we determined what size my old stove needed, the glass was ordered and it was on its way. The package arrived a few days later, and despite being warned it could be difficult to pull the door off and remove the screws holding the glass, it went like clockwork. No problems, and I'm very happy to see my fine through nice clear new glass.
