For the last year, my wood burning stove has leaked. It was not enough smoke to make it unusable, but enough that the house would smell smoky. After installing this new seal, we did not have any leak at all. We had the fire burning all day on Sunday (while we watched my Packers choke against the Eagles). This morning we woke up with now smoky smell.
I should have done this last year.
