I called molly maid after a month of severe illness and hospitalization. I had lost 20 pounds and was very weak. With friends help, I had my kitchen cleaned, refrigerator, kitchen, 1 bath room except the bathtub cleaned really well.
Molly Maid had to clean 2 bed rooms, 1 bathtub, another bathroom, living room. the rooms needed only carpet vacuuming. I had made special request time and again for a my bed and couch to be vacuumed.
This was a DEEP CLEAN and all of this was agreed upon.
3 Ladies arrived. They were very pleasant, courteous and professional. I am sure each of them were good at their job in their own right.
My apartment cleaning was not satisfactory despite all my prior cleaning. The business DID NOT REDUCE charges despite my having cleaned so much already.
The carpets were unclean in many areas, bathrooms had visible stain marks, furniture and mattress was not refreshed. I was not sure what I paid money for.
The cleaning ladies said their vacuums didn't work. They also said they didn't have sufficient time and were rushed. All this despite my having already done the toughest part of cleaning. I still am/was thankful for the team of ladies for they freshened my place at my time of need.
The business called and offered a redo. Said a different team will fix things.
Come the day of redo 2 of the same cleaning team showed up. They looked a bit cross. I would be too. Why did the business send the same team? To punish the team? I felt sorry for the ladies. I definitely was put in an extremely awkward position. I take offense to this kind of business practice.
The ladies did their best. They were pleasant and professional. They got most of the fixes. However, they still didn't touch the furniture refresh - I was sitting right there. They didn't do the mattress refresh either. I could smell something burning from their Oreck vacuum. They were rushed again.
Not worth my money. I would hire the lovely team if they had sufficient time and better equipment.
