Looks like one has a lot of choice for products to buy, which seem appealing. It turns out to be an outlet of cheap Chinese products, chances are you won't be happy with what you receive.
When this is the case forget about what is stated on the sales page, where you might find promises like 'Free Return', '75-day Buyer Protection', they seem to be only there to lure you into buying.
I had ordered a body-wearable cam for recording during meetings, as one picture on sales page promoted. The sound was barely detectable. Even with a software-patch received from the seller after explaining my problem did not improve sufficiently the sound.
At this point I opened a dispute and requested full refund.
AliExpress did NOT accept that the product was faulty.
It has to be added that uploading evidence (large file, video recording) onto the page did not work when I tried several times.
The proposal was nevertheless that I could send back the product and get the money back.
The catch, I would have to pay myself for sending back the goods, which in this case would be about 40% value of the cam I bought. This despite the 'Free Return' promise on the product page.
Any further attempt to contact AliExpress is frustrated as one can only chat with a 'bot'.
As many other opinions on this site state, for your peace of mind better stay away from ordering goods on AliExpress, unless you are a gambler.
