“AliExpress canceled my order after promising they wouldn’t—and now they want me to pay more to re-buy itJust a warning to anyone relying on AliExpress’s “Buyer Protection” or chat support: I placed two legit orders during their anniversary sale. I paid in full. The listings showed a fixed price with free shipping—no model selection, no deposit disclaimer, nothing shady-looking. After I ordered, the seller stalled and didn’t ship. I contacted AliExpress support multiple times. They promised everything was fine and that I had “nothing to worry about.” I even told them I do not want a refund—I just want the products I paid for. Guess what happened next? Both orders were canceled “due to shipping delays” They refunded me without my consent The customer support team gave me copy-paste replies And now they want me to “just reorder”… for $500+ more since the sale ended I’ve already filed complaints with: The FTC The California Attorney General And my bank, with full documentation of everything they said and did If this sounds like a one-off, it’s not. I’ve seen other users get the same treatment. Buyer Protection means nothing if they cancel your order anyway and hide behind canned responses. Avoid the seller Shandong Dongcheng Machinery Store and be extremely cautious with platform support promises. I’ve got screenshots, receipts, and chat logs to back it all up.”

“I received an item ordered on AliExpress (around $20) and found it defective, so I opened a dispute, and got a reply that they would give me a partial refund (50%), which was not acceptable, so I told them I wanted a full refund, and the system told me to return it. I checked the local post office, and the cheapest shipping rate with a tracking number would be $39 plus tax, meaning it exceeds the value of the item. So I tried many times to contact the seller but every time I sent the message, I got an automatic reply "My pleasure" and then nothing else. Today I received a message from AliExpress asking me to return the item, but without a confirmation from the seller, I may end up paying $40 to get a $20 refund. Then I tried to contact AliExress customer service, but found it a loop, and you never get a useful response. I used to trust AliExpress and bought a few things in the past few years, but from now I am not sure if I should use it any more.”

“I was blamed for not receiving my parcel, the delivery company imile logistics made up false delivery attempts, I didn't get my parcel because they lied about it being delivered. Don't buy anything from them. They treatment I received was discusting.”

“Después de mucho tiempo como cliente y de muchísimos pedidos participe en el concurso aniversario y gane un proyector valorado en más de 60€ después de conseguirlo no me dejó pagarlo y al rato ya ponía agotado y supuestamente había más de 999 unidades y solo se dieron 500 y pico y después de varios correos solo recibo la misma respuesta que cambie por otro regalo cuando él de más valor son 12€ y no me parece normal que engañen así a sus clientes.”

“I ordered an item on February 13 thinking that I would receive it in 2 weeks. Today is march 30 and it's still not delivered. The system says it will be delivered by may 4. How ridiculous. For those who don't believe me check the waybill number UA760008782AE. Ali Express is an epic disappointment. The companny that sells the items "KunSword Pneumatic Store" responds with super outragous message whenever you inquire. "Do you want a refund?" as if a refund will undo my waste of time.”

“I saw an advert for a set of bike gear shifters and ordered them. Only one part arrived and Aliexpress said that's all I ordered. I ordered what I saw in the photo not just one part. Even the invoice listed all 4 parts. So be extra careful, what you see is not what you get. I will never use Aliexpress again.”

“My first time making purchase on AliExpress. Eagerly waited for about 12 days and the order status showed being delivered by an unknown and a previously unheard of delivery company, except no package could be found anywhere (mailbox, front door, or anywhere around the house). Opened a case with AliExpress, and they promptly closed the case 3 days later saying no valid evidence provided, with no refund. How can I prove to them or provide evidence for a package I never received in the first place? AliExpress just robbed me (took my money and I got nothing in return, except the terrible experience). Their customer service is horrible and completely unhelpful. Learn from my experience and stay clear of this merchant. Worst first time experience ever!”

“More than 30 days ago I bought an automatic litter box for my cat. The compromise was to be delivered from Spain, no taxes and the delivery time around 1 week. Finishing the compromised delivery time, I received a.message. The new delivery time increased around 1 month. I was waiting for news. I sent a message to the seller. No reaction at all Waiting, waiting, finally appears a message in hours. 22 hours left. 18 hours left,.... finally I receive a new message. The provider cannot send my product and they will send me the money back. I thought, goodbye to my 188 euros. But surprisingly it took few days to receive the money back. The only good experience in 40 days. I was reluctant to buy in Aliexpress. From now on I will never buy again in this platform. The sense of being cheated, the lack of feedback during the process... impedes me to buy again.”

“Probably aliexpress is the worst company to deal with from my experience. The quality of the item they are selling not you are expect: miss presentation, low quality of the materials, wrong sizes for cloth and shoes. Moreover in case of returning the items they are placed returns on dispute and in the best case scenario the return money two cases from five. Very shady company with no accountability.”

“I ordered a loft bed and was given a tracking number. The tracking showed the order was delivered and signed for but it never was. Was told that was a "false" tracking number but was then given the runaround and could never find out if the item ever shipped. This is a site to stay away from!! The prices may look good and it may show shipping from the US but they are dishonest and do not make it easy to get answers.”
