I have purchased a cosmetic machine worth 585 Euros off AliExpress Miruoou Store In October. I was not receiving the product so I got nervous and checked the tracking number status. It showed that it arrived to customs. As nobody contacted me I contacted FedEx trying to see if anything was needed from my end. They said they called me earlier. I didn't receive any calls from them, but there is always a lot of telephone spamming, so one of the calls where they call you and then when they are not saying anything for a while could be from them and mistaken for spam. But I have received other goods that got stuck in customs before and FedEx would usually contact me by email. I haven received any emails from FedEx at all! I offered FedEx customer service to go through the process there and then. But they refused, saying that they will take my contact number and email and will contact me later. I waited for one day and called again. This time FedEx customer service agent said that last time, when I gave them my email adress it was noted wrong. So she corrected the error and asked me to wait until their staff contacts me again. I waited one more day without any attempt of contact with me. I called them again following day just to be informed that they have already returned the package to the seller. I already was fearing that Ali express seller might try make it difficult for me to get reimbursed, so I asked FedEx for supporting documentation around this tracking number displaying all of my contact attempts in order to demonstrate my good will and efforts trying to process customs formalities. They refused to take any complaint or provide any documentation over the phone and asked me to write an email to their customer service. FedEx then responded to my email saying that I was uncontactable and when I contacted them it was only to give them a wrong email. No further documentation to forward to aliexpress detailing what really happened! I responded asking them confirm the full story around this tracking number documented by them as every call is recorded, and not some excuses for their poor service provided that will serve absolutely nothing in my dispute on Aliexpress platform for the return of my 584€ of damages caused here. My further emails to FedEx were completely ignored by their customer service team. So, unable to wait any more I decided to open a dispute on AliExpress platform against Miruoou store showing them my complaint to FedEx, attaching my mail messages history demonstrating receiving no mails from FedEx at all, which could indicate that seller may have not even included my email adress as a part of the shipping bill which could cause this misunderstanding. Today I received AliExpress preliminary resolution of this aliexpress dispute stating that my allegations are invalid unless I could prove that seller had made a mistake by showing them the import documentation!? I mean, did anyone even read what the dispute was about??? The whole point of it was that Nobody contacted me! No-one sent me ANY import documentation! I had to call FedEx 3 times only to learn the 3rd time that the item was sent back! FedEx is playing dead pretending this never happened! And AliExpress here is protecting this criminals that probably even didn't put my email on the shipping bill on purpose as they knew this could cause a problem and make it so that the seller will get back the product and receive 584 € of money extorted out of the customer! And AliExpress gets to keep the commission! So this way AliExpress has the interest to protect the criminals! The seller probably keeps using FedEx as they are probably consistently horrible in getting their parcels through the customs! I'm completely shocked and disgusted that this can actually happen in civilised society where we have so many laws to protect our transactions. Organisations like this, that are based outside of our countries get to scam our sitizens with the help of FedEx without any protection of or customer rights and stay unpunished!
