AliExpress is NOT SAFE. Their 'Buyer Protection' is NOT REAL. If you buy from them, you may get your item, but you may also loose your money with no real recourse.
In my case the items never arrived. The USPS tracking info clearly showed that the items were never revived from the international carrier, and therefor never delivered to me. I went through claims process, providing detailed links, screenshots and information. The seller refused the claim, saying I should contact he Post Office. On appeal to the so called 'Buyer Protection', they summarily denied the claim, with no real explanation or opportunity for me to respond. I contacted customer service , which was a drawn out ordeal over chat (the only option). The chat took almost and hour as they are really slow, and I could not leave my computer since the session times out every 3 minutes if you do not keep clicking to keep it alive. In the end the woman said she would put in a request for a refund. I then quickly got another e-mail saying I was not getting a refund and I should 'contact the post office'.
So, the site is legitimate, in that you may receive real items . But its is NOT SAFE - if anything goes wrong AliExpress is not interested in making it right. Be prepared to LOOSE YOUR MONEY.
