I've been doing business with AliExpress for the last six months. I believe I've uncovered both the good and the bad.
You can find a great deal as long as you can live with the slow delivery. That's the good news! The bad news should you ever have a problem with an order . . you're screwed! Buyer Protection is a sham. There is no such thing. Should your product not arrive, should it be damaged, should the seller ship product even though you cancelled the order . . you're screwed!
When a problem occurs, you typically can do two things: You first chat with customer service in an attempt to get their help to resolve the problem. Second, you file a dispute. Well, customer service will assure you up one side and down the other that they will solve your problem. They never do! They tell you they will but they don't. And filing a dispute always results in them siding with the seller. They don't have an Amazon or eBay customer service philosophy . . the seller is always right! So Beware!!"
