I'd leave 0 stars if I could!!! I bought a set of draws a few weeks ago now theough click and collect. When I got home and tried to assemble the draws they have been built incorrectly, the screws didn't line up with the holes. The following day I drove back to the store to advise what happened but due to covid they cannot accept returns so they gave me the number to call for customer service. I called that number and sat on hold for 30 minutes. The lady was lovely and put an order in for spare parts - I wasn't sure exactly what parts were wrong so she advised to order all bits for that area on the draws so we know it will be correct. The next day I get emails from their spare parts team asking for pictures so they can see where it is built wrong which I was okay with and sent over. They came back telling me that there is nothing wrong with the item and they'd need lots more pictures (by this point I am fuming as they are accusing me of lying pretty much and what should be a simple process was not simple). Following this I called their customer service number again (sitting on hold for another 25mins) to arrange collection of the whole thing and spoke to a lady called Shirley. She seemed lovely and said she would look into it and get answers then call me back within 24 hours. If she had no answers she said she would arrange collection. By this point it had already been just under a week so one more day would have been okay, only she never called me back. The following evening I called back AGAIN and sat on hold for half hour. I got through to a lady called Michelle who was so rude and unhelpful. She just kept saying that they cannot do anything and that she is sorry. I advised that the previous lady told me she would arrange collection but apparently this isn't allowed? So I had been misadvised. By this point I was SO angry and I asked to speak to manager. Michelle replied with 'unfortunately there isn't anyone you can speak to because of covid we only have supervisors not managers and you cannot speak to them'. Sorry but how ridiculous is that!!!! How do you make complaints? Who is managing their staff? This was 100% a lie they just clearly didn't want to take my call. By this point I was trying all avenues to speak to someone higher so I went on their live chat. I spoke to a lady called Sharon who was so helpful and called through to spare parts. She found the order and assured me it would be with me in 3-5 days. I was so happy that someone had finally taken time to actually help me. Then we get to today.. I have just recieved an email from their spare parts team advising my order will not be sent because it is too big? Their first advisor said to order all the parts for that bit of the draws as she wasnt sure either so that's not my fault. And Sharon assured me that I would recieve my parts without further issues (which I have the transcript for!!!!) How can they be selling items but not accepting returns for their own FAULTY products????? Avoid argos at ALL COSTS. Useless customer service team and EXTREMELY incompetent.
