I have been shopping at Argos from since the mid to late 70s and have never had any complaints as the staff and service were always acceptable. For example, I recently visited my local Argos in Ilford, Essex (before the recent lockdown) to buy a couple of oil heaters. The staff who dealt with me on both occasions were absolutely delightful especially the young man at the door. I think his name was Stuart - a very lovely young man to have a conversation with. The other staff who served me were Shania (on my first visit) and Amirun (second visit when I returned one of the heaters).
I have no complaints nor was I dissatisfied with the help I received. Life is too short to be always complaining about one thing or the other. Furthermore, it uses up too much energy.
The only thing that has been upsetting is not getting my catalogue, which I looked forward to getting every year, because the powers that be has made the decision to stop it. They have obviously not thought about their shoppers who love to spend time looking through it and dreaming of what they can afford to buy. BAD DECISION.
