Ordered a TV online and paid with my Argos card.Tv Didn't arrive. I rang they said it was delivered to my previous address. Sent a delivery driver back out to retrieve it and occupant said it didn't go there. Argos said I had to pay for TV as they delivered it to delivery address. I rang customer services and asked them for proof of delivery . They said they had proof of delivery but would sent me another TV and I would only be paying for one. Later I got an email to say they had cancelled my new TV and I needed a police ref number. I got in touch with police who informed me that I could not report a crime without proof of delivery. Told me Argos needed to report theft. Argos refused to provide proof of delivery but still want to bill me. Covid or not you don't just leave a £400 0rder at door without signature. I have given Argos a lot of custom for years but I wiil be cancelling my card and never buying again. Horrendous customer service.
