Yesterday the delivery man from Argos delivered 3 big parcels when there was actually 5. When I called him to ask him were the other 2 was he said its not his problem to call Argos.
When he delivered them I was at work and my husband was at home with our 3 year old. The driver called me at work and told me to come down and help him take the boxes to our flat on 2nd floor (lift available) I told him I was at work and my husband can't leave our 3 year old unattended in the flat its against the law. He became rude and aggressive and started threatening me telling me he will leave my order on the side of the street. When I explained to him not to do that since I paid for them £350 +order) he said that wasn't his problem. I literally begged him not to leave them on the street and my son needs his new bed, he has eczema. Again the driver told me its not his problem. I explained to him if he was unavailable to deliver heavy goods why didn't he organise with his manager to have 2 delivery man? I told him my husband did not sign up for this job and he cant leave our 3 year old unattended. The delivery man just wouldn't understand and continued threatening me.
I feel bad for my 3 year old he was so excited about his new bed only to be disappointed since 2 parcels (part of the bed) was not delivered and on top we threw his old bed away.
When the driver delivered the 3 out of 5 boxes he was rude to my husband, mouthy and he was in a great rush to leave when my husband asked where is the other 2 boxes, the driver didn't response, just left.
