They will take your money in a fraction of a second but make your life a living hell to attempt to return a faulty item. Bought a washing machine which stained and ripped clothes, Argos say we have to talk to HOTPOINT to be able to return item? (Blatant infringement of returns policy). Thankfully, I kept records of all phonecalls. Passed between the two companies every day for two weeks like a joke. Hotpoint finally advised us to get a washing machine cleaner 😂. Eventually an engineer sent out, who verified that the drum needs replacement. Still no communication from either company, both say they are waiting for each other. TL;DR DON'T BUY APPLIANCES FROM ARGOS IF YOU WANT YOUR RIGHTS TO BE INFRINGED AND TO BE TAKEN FOR A JOKE.
