Appalling, cynical service and quality. I ordered six children's gifts online and every box but one arrived badly damaged, with one old and dirty.
Collection was from a local Sainsburys: as soon as the bar code is scanned the item is considered delivered and so although they and I could see that the items had been delivered badly damaged they were now my responsibility.
Argos tell me that although the fault is theirs (x5) the onus is now on me to take the items to a local store to exchange. I shopped online to save time.
Lesson learned. I normally order from Debenhams or John Lewis and I won't make the same mistake of going to Argos again.
