Argos customer service is very poor! We ordered a bed that comes in three boxes. However negligance from the courier left us with one wrong box meaning half way through putting the bed together we realised we had been given the wrong box. I rang Argos to explain and to rectify the situation ASAP. They explained I have to wait a week for the missing item to be delivered which is highly inconvienient to us as we had to dismemtel the original bed to put together the new bed! Fuming. So my three year old will have to sleep on a mattress on the floor until next week, and most mums will know what kids are like with sleep routines! Massive pain. So I explained this to ask if they could have it delivered in store quicker for me to collect, they said no but offered me a blow up bed to use for the inconvenience! I declined as I don’t need a blow up bed, and asked if there was anything else they could offer in compensation for the massive inconvenience this has caused, they said they thought that the offer of a blow up bed was sufficient! No, it’s not I’m fuming, granted it’s the delivery drivers mistake and mistake it was but still it wasn’t mine but I’m the one who will suffer! (Sleepless nights no doubt) A little compassion for the situation would have gone a long way, offer some money off, a gift voucher or even ensure they will check the delivery service is being thorough! Sorry Argos I will no longer be purchasing from you again!
