I ordered a DVD player on the 18 April. Paid. I had an email saying my product would be with me on 20 April between 0700-1300. No items have been delivered. I have tried to contact (Facebook messenger, phone...) no response. If I go on ‘My orders’ it still says my order will be delivered on 20 April and there are 36 deliveries before me. I have no issues with there being a delay in deliveries as expected during these times but this is a diabolical way to treat customers. If Argos are experiencing extreme difficulties at this time, they certainly should not be accepting any more orders or payments.
UPDATE: Managed to get through to a customer service advisor on the phone - after an hour on hold - Apologised and told me it was the delivery drivers fault. Sent out new DVD order to “arrive yesterday”. No DVD player arrived. On my orders it says, “Sit tight we’re processing your order”.
Absolute disgrace Argos. We all understand that these are difficult times - and allow for that but no way should you keep taking money off of people if you cannot deliver the service or goods. You should be ashamed.
