I bought a laptop from Argos which has been faulty since the day I got it. I tried to get in touch with Argos but they make it extremely difficult. There is no answer on their phones, ever. It always just hangs up. The only option to chat is through Facebook Messenger. It took 4 days for someone to respond to my enquiry and they left halfway through the conversation. That was a week ago. Someone else has just responded now to tell me to take it up with the manufacturer. I have told them 3 times now I've spoken to the manufacturer already who said this is a problem for Argos and I could only be refunded through them.
The customer service Argos gives (or lack thereof!) is absolutely appalling. I don't know any other big company that is as bad as this. I was trying to support them over Amazon during these times as I know the British high street is struggling but in future I'll stick to Amazon - much more reliable and can actually deal with a problem!
