Ordered online delivery, time due 4pm-5pm yesterday (2/11/22). At 6pm I range customer services, after 45 minutes on hold the operative (based in South Africa - I asked where they were) told me there was a delay but to expect the delivery by 8pm. The online website tracker stated it was on its way until 10pm when it changed to -

No-one had contacted me and I wasn’t going to ring customer services again
The order must be coming from South Africa …….
What appalling customer service Asda, all you needed to do was contact me and let me know what was happening rather than let me wait all night -especially after being given a total misrepresentation by your staff stating that it was still on its way.
I have sympathy for the Customer Sevices and drivers, however the management at Asda are clearly not up to the job if this is how they treat customers.
