Placed an online order which included ham, cheese, apple juice and beef mince to arrive at our holiday cottage just after we arrived there. All of these items were missing with supposedly no substitutes available. Totally unbelievable and shocking service. But then every home shopping experience with Asda has been poor over the years which is why I have only used it a few times. This will be the last time.
When trying to get compensation I have spent 6 weeks and Asda keep reneging on the sum agreed and trying to fob me off with a lower amount. Also they keep insisting on it being an e-voucher for online shopping - worthless as I cannot justify using them again. Not sure why they cannot just give me an in-store gift card.
Very frustrating and horrendous customer service. In-store is much better. Avoid online
