I bid twice in the last second and the auction is extended each time by 90 seconds, until I lose the auction.
I have participated in many auctions at various auction houses, but I have never experienced this type of auction anywhere.
They seem to be hunting for the highest possible price by extending the auction time and fishing for the naive.
