My daughter bought me a pair of magnetic strap sandals for my birthday. After only wearing them a few times the inner soles started disintegrating. I’ve had Clark’s for years with no problems at all so this was a first for me with Clark’s shoes. I sent Clarks an email explaining the problem the sandals have. They couldn’t have been less interested if they tried. They told me to go into a high street branch which I couldn’t as my daughter had bought them from Amazon where Clarks have an outlet. This then meant I couldn’t go into the high street shop with them. Sent Clark’s another email explaining this and they then just blanked me. Have since sent more emails and nothing comes back. How times have changed for a once great store who prided itself on customer care. So I have an expensive pair of sandals that are prematurely falling apart and Clark’s don’t seem to be to bothered. I think the days of buying from a named brand are coming to an end. There’s now cheaper alternatives out there with better customer care and less expensive. I suppose it’s a sign of the times.
