ESME one of your baristas in HRI Huddersfield. Sorry, l forgot, but here is a tribute to you! This is in regard to an incident at the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary costa outlet a few weeks ago. My wife had broke her wrist and we were at H.R.I for treatment. We were getting a drink from the Costs outlet next to the reception, l was “taken short” and had to dash to the nearest facilities (you don’t need to know) but it’s part of the explanation! I didn’t think l would be long. (Haha, no pun intended) but, there was a queue, I left my wife 2nd person in the queue. When l got back to the refreshment area my wife was sat down with 2 teas and 2 pieces of cake on the table in front of her. I asked her how she had managed the purchase, she told me that a really lovely barista had taken pity on her and had delivered all of the tea and cakes to the table for her because of her broken hand. This has to be ABOVE and BEYOND what we should expect? So here is a big THANK YOU to ESME for her help. When l asked Esme her name l think she thought she was in trouble? It makes me wonder if all the baristas carry out this act for injured people (in the hospital)??
