The process for ordering shoes on line is broken! I placed the order for sandals on the Ecco website. On 05/09 I received the mail with order confirmation and my credit card was charged on the same day. Then I heard nothing for two weeks so I sent email to the Ecco customers support department asking for updates. Apparently this is what happened: my order was sent to a store who processed it. Then my order was cancelled due to no inventory in this store. At this point I checked the website and saw the sandals of my choice still available. How was it possible? I was told that there was no inventory in the store that processed my order but other stores still had stock available. Bottom line - an unknown store is blamed for canceling my order (without informing me about it for 2 weeks). I say Ecco, and only Ecco, should be accountable as I ordered from the Ecco website, I received email from Ecco confirming the ordered, and was charged for the purchase by Ecco. Blaming an unknown store for this fiasco is ridiculous!
