We were travelling from New Delhi to Jalandhar. The detailed instructions provided on the booking regarding where to board the bus were incorrect. The "host" confirmed the pick up spot however the drivers yelled while were boarding stayed we are delaying the bus trip, even though the bus came 24 minutes late that the normal time.
We had 6 luggage in total and with the ticket only 4 were allowed so I purchased 2 extra 20 kilo luggage. The host refused to onboard us stating the luggage is too much. He refused to check our ticket which confirmed 6 luggage. We were rushed into the bus, the driver has already accelerated while we got on. I cannot emphasise how dangerous this is. My mum who is the second passenger has has a previous hip replacement, any fall could have been fatal and not only her, we were not helped with boarding the bus while we had our 7 kilo carry on luggage in our hands as the host refused to put these with the other luggage. We were rushed into the bus and the door from the driver cabin was locked with the host yelling find your seats.
The lack of unprofessionalism, complete disregard to passenger safety, lack of communication and next to none customer services with the Flix bus services. Even though I am not surprised by the utter disgrace this service has been considering we were travelling in India.
