I work in a very oddly shaped large building with several entrances, unlike a standard office building that typically has just a front and back entrance for deliveries. That's why whenever I place a delivery order, I choose the 'meet in person' option and wait downstairs, in addition to providing instructions on how to find my entrance. Regardless, most of the time, the couriers deliver to the main entrance, which is fine because if they call me, I can just walk over to meet them there. I've never had issues with other food delivery services like UberEats or DoorDash. Today, I did the same with grubHub and specifically asked in the instructions to call me. However, the courier not only went to the wrong entrance but also just dropped off my order there and marked it as delivered. I contacted him but never heard back. There were no photos provided, which I always get from UberEats or DoorDash. I was looking for my order for almost an hour. Just after I got something else to eat, a lady from the same building called to let me know my order was left with her company. Even though grubhub refunded my order, the driver was horrible and didn't follow the instructions at all, so I won't use the service again. I deleted the Grubhub and Seamless apps.
