Selling faulty goods and refusing to replace.
Bought a set of bedding in store. After getting washing and going to put on the bed it became apparent that the item was faulty as there were no holes for the buttons to do the duvet cover up at the bottom. I contacted online customer support (with my receipt, and a video of the issue) to ask about maybe getting a replacement sent to me but they refused as it was an “in store” purchase so would have to go back there. I do not currently live particularly close to a store and have recently just come out of hospital so not in much of a condition to be leaving the house. I suggested them sending a courier collection from my address but they refused.
I have now paid full price for a duvet cover that is faulty/ unusable that they will not do anything about helping sort for me. This seems ridiculous to me as it shouldn’t matter where you are if the item is faulty, you could have taken it to another country and it wouldn’t change the fact that it’s a manufacturer error even if you were abroad and unable to return to a store. Complete con.
