I am extremely disappointed with Just Eat’s service and their new policy. Recently, I placed an order and did not receive two of the items I paid for. To make matters worse, one of the products I did receive—mushrooms—arrived in an open box, with clear signs that someone had already eaten from it.
I provided photographic evidence to Just Eat and reached out for support, but they refused to issue a refund, even for the items that were missing. This is unacceptable. As a loyal customer who used to order from Just Eat every week, I am appalled by this change in their policy.
The new policy apparently states that even if items are missing from your order, no refunds will be provided. This was confirmed to me via email by one of their employees. To make matters worse, I have seen that the majority of recent reviews and comments from other customers are saying the same thing.
We need to stand together and take action! Stop using their service, remove the app from your phones, and let them know this kind of behavior is unacceptable. Companies like this need to understand that they can’t treat customers this way or get away with taking people’s money without delivering what was promised.
While you can try to request a refund through your bank, the process is time-consuming. It’s clear that Just Eat needs to overhaul this policy and start treating their customers with respect.
