Why is it that Lidls never have enough tills open? You never get served quickly!
Today I stood in a queue with a full trolley in front. The CSA waited until she was almost finished with the full trolley before asking for assistance, despite a queue down the aisle. Two customers behind me then got served at the other till before I was served. This is a regular occurrence at the Prestonpans store in East Lothian and quite frankly I think I would rather shop at another local store, even though they have less choice and are a bit more expensive, as this is very frustrating not only for the waiting customers but stressful for the customer being served as they then feel they have to rush. In light of social distancing many customers having to gather at the till should not be happening...it also blocks aisle and makes it difficult for others to pass by and continue with their shopping. I would appreciate if it was a very busy period and all tills were busy but it wasn't and the CSA waited until she had cleared the bulk shop before getting assistance. Are they not allowed to open additional tills unless there are a certain amount of customers waiting (even when there are staff available) or is the system needing to be reviewed and amount of shopping needs to be considered. The CSA should be able to read the situation and get support quicker.
