I purchased two sets of Christmas lights from Studio with two extended 3 year guarantees. Both sets of lights were not working correctly after 1 year. Studio told us that we had to contact our insurer (they had sold us the insurance policy) however the insurer told us that Studio were obligated to refund us rather than them as the lights had broken when still under Studio's guarantee rather than the extended guarantee. We spoke to Studio on the phone and after 45 minutes they agreed that they would collect the broken lights to replace them. Since then they refunded one set of lights (without ever collecting them) however they did not refund the second set of broken lights or the two guarantees that I purchased which they would not honour! We have contacted them and they have stated that the extended guarantee was only for one year even though our policy documents clearly state three years (and there would have been no point in purchasing a one year guarantee when they came with one year anyway). They would not refund or replace the second set of broken lights or either of the two policies. I would never shop with Studio again and would recommend avoiding this company.
