First time ordering and the order came damaged and unusable, I sent it back for a refund to receive an email a couple of days later to inform me that the refund has been credited to my account.
I never used a voucher nor credit, I used my bank card, therefore payment should of been refunded to my original payment method. When I called to enquire about this and told them I do not accept credit and wanted it back on my card I was met with an extremely rude and unprofessional “customer service advisor” Julie, who refused to send me an email confirming that the refund will now be sent to my card, when I asked to speak to a manger i was abruptly put on hold for ages then I denied my request, apparently none were available, but when I told her I was not happy to leave the call and would not await a call back that would never happen, a manger suddenly became available, again I was abruptly put on hold for a few minutes without warning even though I told her after the first time her telephone manner was unprofessional and I should be informed that I am being put on hold.
I was given conflicting advice from the line manager Luca compared to Julie which I pointed out, I was told an email would be sent from the refunds department in which I gave them 24 hours to do so.
The audacity of this company to refund people with credit instead of to their original payment method. My first order arrived damaged, even if I was contemplating given it then another chance I certainly wouldn’t now I know they refund like this and have such poor customer service, their refund method may even be illegal which I will be asking trading standards and open a complaint if I haven’t received confirmation of the correct refund procedure by 9.34 tomorrow morning.
