I ordered bedroom furniture in September last year, the items were out of stock, I got an email on the same day to say the items were out of stock and that I would get a refund to my account in 3-5 days. That was it as far as I was concerned, never thought anything more of it. I get a message in November to tell me to go online and make a payment. I checked my studio account and my balance was showing £268.99 for the furniture that was out of stock. I was told by email to contact Fraser finance who would mark as a dispute for 30 days, i did this, I get a further message in December to say late payment again, I phone Fraser Finance who apparently put a dispute for another 30 days, (this was an absolute waste of time calling Fraser). I’ve now got two red crosses on my credit score. I also paid the minimum payment of £65 in December as I didn’t want another Red Cross on my credit score for January. I have now lost 70 points on my credit score and £65 out of pocket. These people have caused me so much stress, I have asked for my refund, I have requested the red marks on my credit file be removed and I’ve asked them to close the account as I no longer want to purchase anything from Studio, everything I’ve asked for has been ignored, appalling customer service, you cannot speak to anyone on the phone. I’ve stopped contacting them now because it’s stressful, I have registered a complaint with the financial ombudsman and hope they will get this resolved. I will never purchase anything from Studio again.
