I have shopped with this company for nearly twenty years. Most of time things have run pretty smoothly but I have had to take them to the financial ombudsman twice in the past and the decision made has always been in my favor. I subsequently learned from my neighbor that Studio were going into administration and then on the internet I learned that the Fraser Group had stepped in. At no time have I ever been informed by letter of this matter by the new owner. Customer Services is run by complete morons at the best of times but things have got considerably wore since the buy out.
I ordered some earrings in August 2023 and to date I have not received them but like many of the customers who have written reviews, I have been charged for them. I have written to them twice and have been ignored. However, they have no problem sending out a statement wanting their monthly money.
I would not recommend this company to anyone and I don't know whether or not to be pleased or alarmed at the amount of customers who all have the same complaint as I do - at least I know I'm not alone. I can't even complain to the financial ombudsman again because I have to allow them time to respond to my complaint - I think it best not to hold my breath.
I'm going to pay the account up and leave off the money they owe me and hopefully they will take me to court and I will have the opportunity to state my case.
