I am horribly disappointed in Takealot and their poor customer service. In this time of state crisis.
I ordered 4 products from Takealot on 20 March 2020. I waited for my order and never heard from a thing from Takealot. Today 12 April I go online to see that Takealot has canceled my order without contacting me to let me know.
I contact them to find out what is happening and get told that my items are considered "not essential" so the full order was canceled and I can reorder my products. I need these products to generate an income. So they are essential for me.
When I go back online to reorder takealot has changed the pricing and I am expected to pay in an extra R1300 ontop of the original price.
All of this frustration could have been avoided had Takealot bothered to contact me regarding my order and my money.
I will be taking my business else where.
