WORST SERVICE EVER!!!
A few weeks ago I ordered Sophie Moda computer glasses off their app. I selected the gradient pink which I liked the most. Two weeks later I got confirmation that my glasses have arrived at the Brackenfell pick up point and I can collect.
Instead of the gradient pink glasses there were a light pink glasses in the package with the gradient pink sticker on. NOT WHAT I ORDERED!
I immediately logged a replacement and requested that it be replaced with the gradient pink that I selected.
I got an email from Oscar saying that they no longer have stock of the item.
I then requested that it be replaced with the floral glasses which I also liked and Olivia Stanford confirmed that this can be done.
Two days later I get an email from Yaseen Arendse confirming that they cannot do the replacement and will have to credit me
I then phoned their call center and spoke to Thobela Nkwali who confirmed that she will log the request for the replacement with the floral glasses because Olivia made this promise even though it was not their policy and will ask that they speed up the delivery since I waited two weeks just for the wrong glasses woth no phone call from the takealot team to confirm if they can replace my order with something else.
After this phone call I got an email again from Yaseen Arendse confirming that they will process the replacement as soon as the returned item arrives at their depot.
Yesterday I received an email that my account has been credited which essentially means I now have to order the item again, and wait another two weeks for the glasses. It will be 5 weeks then from the initial time I ordered.
PATHETIC SERVICE And they clearly don’t know what’s going on or communicate properly internally as they are constantly giving conflicting responses.
