I bought a vinyl record from Takealot and returned it no less than 4 (yes, four!) times as the outer packaging/covers were damaged. What I found was that they only have 2 items in stock, both defective, which they kept trying to sell as "New".
Every time I returned the item I notified them of the damage, and with the last 2 returns I told them that I have actually received that exact same damaged copy before, yet they did nothing about it and kept sending me the defective products. This means:
- They do not read customer commentary when you return an item
- They knowingly sell defective products as "New"
- They are obviously a highly unethical business
If you can find it somewhere else, do not buy it from Takealot - their average review score on this website is this low for a reason. And they do not even bother replying to customer complaints which should tell you all you need to know.
