I don’t agree with the bad comments about thredup, If I had looked at reviews first, I would never have found thredup, it’s wonderful! The clothes are clean, they are as described. Their measurements of the garments is usually perfect I only buy items that are in excellent condition. Most of them look brand new, never worn. Plus it’s easy to make returns. As a heads up, though, be sure to read the comments because some items are a final sale, no return. As for those who are trying to sell their items on thredUP they probably think they’re old clothes are worth big money. My sister-in-law always thought her 1970s clothes were worth something. Her basement was packed full, in the end they were thrown in the trash. I don’t even try to sell my clothes in a rummage sale. I’ll give them away or donate them because they bring Next to nothing at a rummage sale. It’s not worth the time to put tags on them. To expect a for-profit business to pay more than rummage sale prices is unrealistic! If thredup pays me a stipend that’s better than going to a landfill!
