I have been a seller for over a year and have sold 40 items but I have been scammed by Vestiaire and please reconsider selling with them. Last month I sold a necklace and it got damaged ( I have provided photos to customer care as it was intact when sent to HQ to Hong Kong) and later received a voucher ( that did not work and got another one after contacting customer care) and apology but had to seek an official report and explanation. It was sent back to me for free.
This week I had a sale cancelled because it was stated that the Chloe Marcie bag could not be authenticated. Again no photos no official report which I have asked for and also a charge of 12 EUR to get my belonging sent back to me. Holding back someone's belonging is an offence. I have since tried to transfer via my bank ( which does not allow transfers low like that) and via Western union which does not allow to send to companies. I am still awaiting for an official report and a different way of paying the 12 eur to get my bag back. Today the expert seller badge was removed and so was the trusted seller one and no email reply re that query. The bag where the sale was cancelled was deleted with no trace from my profile but somehow people still see it and put it on their wish list. I know for a fact that people have had same terrible experiences as I red reviews. People's authentic items being called fake dodgy email notifications with typos and dear ( insert name) adressing and no proof of experts check seems to be a common scenario. I feel that this platform has made nice money from my sales but would appreciate some clarity and assistance as their customer care is the worst and when they reply to an email ( after 4 days) they think I have the item and claim I have been refunded. I Have sent Customer care ( Jolina Marie in this case) 5 emails so far and have provided pics of hologram brand sticker and code of the bag, proof of trying to transfer money and asking if it could be done via paypal ( safer) and also query re loosing my badges. The lies and poor customer cares service have made me re think if I want to use them again. I do want my bag back and will explore all avenues even legal if needed.
