I contacted Vestiaire now 27 times, the simple question of how I can protect myself against buyers who switch an item/claim they have gotten another item, something that seems to happen frequently with direct shipping. I still have not gotten an answer from the company. However when I bought something, a seller was nice enough to put instructions in on how to protect myself since Vestiaire won't act but how I will have all the evidence to go after the fraudulent buyer, this is information Vestiaire should give!
You need to take pictures of the item with the label, then the item in a box, then the closed box with the label attached, after that you need to put the box on the scale to show the weight (their shipping companies do not do that) and always print out 2 labels, one you keep as evidence to hand over to the authorities with all the pictures showing you sent the RIGHT item.
Customer support is a joke, those people have no training, they don't even know how Vestiaire works, most likely a call center as all the replies are autoreplies.
