I am leaving this review as a seller, as I am furious at the way Vestiaire treats sellers. Their quality control is just a joke. They will nitpick or literally make things up (such a saying a watch is not working, and then it comes back to me... actually working and on time.) Or take the worst pictures to get the buyer to cancel the sale. On a black background, with artificial light, with fingerprints and dust on it, which would make anything look bad. Obviously the buyer will say that they don't want it anymore and cancel the sale without even having a chance to look at the item.
These cancellations happen a lot more than they should and it wouldn't be the case if Vestiaire did not actually profit from them: they get to charge you higher fees for 30 days when this happens, and they also charge you of flat rate of £15 each time.
The way sellers are treated, the lack of customer service, the opacity, the fact that listings are non-modifiable, or that we don't have a right to respond or get in touch with the buyer (or the quality control team) in case of dispute... all of this is shameful and ends up profiting them and them only.
Of course the platform gives you access to a lot of customers, but honestly, if you have a chance to sell your items elsewhere, I suggest that you do.
