Previous to this issue, I have only had positive interactions on Vestiaire, however, the distressing events of today have changed my views on Vestiaire and have repelled me as a customer from this point forward.
After selling an item, I had seven days to ship with a courier. After three days, I receive a message from the buyer who aggressively abuses me, because I didn’t ship the item immediately, so I cancelled the transaction as I didn’t feel safe providing my address to the buyer, I blocked the buyer who is by now harassing me with disgusting verbal abuse.
Despite having blocked messages, the buyer was still able to harass me repeatedly through messages on my listings. I put in a report to Vestiaire, but I only received an automated response suggesting that I block the seller through messages which I had already done. Vestiaire clearly takes no steps in protecting their community.
Unfortunately for their ill thought out processes, harassment towards members, by other members is now publicly visible on their site. I have removed all of my listings and I won’t be using their services again. I highly recommend for others to also avoid.
