I've had buyers purchase an item only to be canceled and refunded without my knowledge. I know because the buyers contacted me. I've had sales canceled because the postal service did not scan the shipping label and the buyer was refunded AFTER they had already received their purchase. I've had badges taken away because of this, as well. As a result, my items were not shown as to what I deserved. The customer service agents have simply ignored my chat messages on multiple occasions and the hoops I had to jump through for the professional seller department to verify me. I sent in three applications. The first two were ignored. I've had gifts I included with a package go to Vestiare to be authenticated only to be taken out and not given to the buyer. I've had item found non compliant for reasons I can not understand. One said the leather was not the same color as the pictures in my listing. I make every attempt to make every picture look just like the bag. In one instance, the picture they took was in terrible lighting and looked like a totally different bag. One item that was found non complaint had a chalky substance in the bag that I am certain was not sent or packaged that way. When I got the item back, I dusted it off. It wasn't a stain as they had accused. Before I was a professional seller, they allowed a bag to be returned because the buyer states that the front clasp was broken. They took the buyers side. When I received the bag back, I discovered the item was just fine and clasp was working exactly as it should. The buyer lied, then messaged me saying I needed to redo the listing and take it down from the site. Said I needed to pay back Vestiaire... The last straw was when a buyer bought an item where I had added a generic strap to a Gucci bag. I clearly disclosed this in the listing. The Gucci bag was authentic, I just added a non branded strap. This listing was accepted and posted online through their curation team. The buyer returned the bag to them and said it not a Gucci strap. She should know this, again it was disclosed in the listing. They again sided with the buyer and now refuse to send me my bag back unless I pay them for shipping. If they don’t hear from me in six months they will destroy the bag. It states a seller is allowed to add on items so long as it is disclosed in the listing. I’ve tried to talk to customer service and all they say is to send proof of authenticity. How can i send proof of authenticity? I stated in the listing it was a non branded strap. They have taken all of my seller badges and my items are no longer being seen. On top of that they punish the seller by taking more commission out for themselves. Does this seem right? Basically the company benefits and makes more commission off of your listings if THEY find them non compliant. This shouldn’t be. That’s motivation to unfairly find things wrong to their benefit. I’ve had it with this company. It’s disgusting how they treat their sellers.
