I bought a bag and sold 1 of my bag at the same time around 2 weeks ago.
1) seller was dishonest on the condition of the bag even when asked and Vestiaire EU passed it on their quality control.
2) i was honest my bag was recoloured, Vestiaire Hong Kong missed it out in the description and rejected it claiming it was redyed. And when I made a complaint, they claimed Chanel banned them from selling bags that have been refurbished in any way. I don't believe this is possible since they are 2 completely separate organisations. Probably done just to avoid compensation of any kind.
Not mentioned I packed my bag very carefully, stuffed to keep in it shape and bubble wrapped to keep it from bumping. It came back haphazardly thrown in a box and flattened as if the authenticator sat on it.
Decided i had enough. Account will be deleted once I have settled the bag I've bought. Highly doubt i will get any form of compensation back based on their initial reply too.
