This is the 3rd time this has happened and it wasn't the charm Walmart. I order online and then get a notification that some of my items will be delivered early, same day! Yay! Except they have decided to have a local store fulfill it via Doordash supposedly. This seems awesome until, for some reason, the delivery person doesn't pick it up, then it gets either stuck in "delayed" mode for a week until you call and they say all they can do is cancel the item, or the store says YOU didn't pick it up so they canceled it. Walmart really needs to get it together with fulfillment. They door dashed 15 cent school folders from 3 different local Walmarts. How do they justify the cost of delivery for a 15 cent folder even once let alone 3 times? They fedexed another one in a huge box just by itself? You're telling me they didnt have 4 folders at just one of the stores or a fullfillment center to be shipped together? It seems silly. That is just the tip of the iceberg of waste in fulfillment and shipping methods.
