A friend had a problem with a Wilko order but eventually sorted it out through The Range. I thought that her experience might have been a one-off so decided to order from them principally to get some of the own-brand Wilko cat food that my cats love. How I wish I'd read the reviews on this site before ordering !
The parcel which arrived was 36 packets short of one variety and 12 short of another totaling over £20 from my order; I stated this quite clearly in the course of my complaint. E mails have followed thick and fast (each bearing a different name from the Wilko end) and I have been asked to provide order-codes, a photo of the order and other types of information so that a basically simple problem has been turned into a veritable Gordian knot. The latest e mail from Wilko has asked me to confirm the figures of missing items as they have stated, but they are considerably less than the actual case.
I 'd like to think that all this is down to incomprehension of basic arithmetic and English on the part of the Wilko team but I'm beginning to suspect delaying tactics after reading some of the other reviews in this thread.
I suspect I shall have to contact my credit card company to try to sort out the mess and obtain a refund for me and my cats will have to get used to other brands in the future as I won't be ordering from Wilko again. Absolutely aggravating !
