Absolutely Appalling Experience – Avoid Wilko at All Costs! If I could give Wilko zero stars, I absolutely would. This has been, without a doubt, the most frustrating and distressing experience I have ever had with a company. A complete and utter joke from start to finish. I ordered a bed over a month ago, expecting a simple, straightforward delivery. Instead, what followed has been an absolute nightmare. The bed arrived with the wrong parts – frustrating, but mistakes happen, right? I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They sent out replacements – also the wrong parts. At this point, I was annoyed but still hopeful they would fix their mistake. They sent another set of replacements – lost in the post. How does a company manage to be this incompetent? They tried yet again – and nothing ever arrived. No tracking number, no explanation, just silence. This has been going on for a MONTH. A whole month of chasing, waiting, and dealing with their complete lack of competence. Meanwhile, I’m still without a bed. Do they care? Clearly not. And to add insult to injury, after all this hassle, wasted time, and stress, they had the audacity to offer me a measly 10% refund. 10%?! That doesn’t even begin to cover the frustration, inconvenience, and sheer incompetence I’ve endured. Wilko, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Your customer service is an absolute disgrace, your logistics are a shambles, and your ability to resolve issues is non-existent. Avoid this company like the plague unless you enjoy wasting your time, energy, and sanity.

Disgraceful, ordered a shed as gift but father passed away, not even opened and unable to get any sense online, it's just the same email asking for photos and a product code, what's wrong with an order number?

DO NOT buy from this company. They will take your money and won't deliver your products or give you any accurate dates I pre ordered chairs no sign No phone number so you can't talk to anyone and their email responses are frankly a joke.and rude Don't waste your time or money, take your business elsewhere.”

Bought a product which was never delivered. Filed a dispute on PayPal and PayPal closed the dispute in favor of this company. They are both scammers, don’t buy from them.

Customer returns is abysmal & non existent. It is a legal requirement with distance selling to offer 14 days cooling off & returns. However you are fobbing people off by not organising returns and being obstructive to that process. Telling people to wait 48hrs to receive 'feedback' on their return, then not getting back to them. You have done this to me and many customers. For returns issues go to Citizens Advice who will give you a template letter to make them adhere to The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This will sort it.

Just returned from Wilko, appalling customer service, staff were rude and unhelpful. Before they were taken over staff were always friendly and polite, will not be going back.

Appalling customer service. Ordered a table and chairs. Table was scratched and chairs wouldn't go together with screws supplied. Make out you are lying or stupid. They are basically a selling platform for other sellers. Said they have to contact super. My contract is with them. But they won't have it. APPALLING DON'T USE

They've taken my money. Their site glitched when I was ordering "site down-try later"+they delivered and charged me for 2 items. Their call centre workers seem to have a problem with understanding English/grasping simple concepts as, at time of writing, I've failed to get any sense out of them after 10 days. They ignore requests, I've requested to put a complaint in and that they call me (can't get anything done via email as they're seemingly illiterate)-completely ignored.

Awful experience I would not recommend buying from Wilko. I ordered a child’s ride on car in November last year and it never arrived I’ve contacted wilko multiple times over email and they said I could get refund or replacement and then stopped answering my emails completely. I spent £149 on the item that hasn’t arrived and I haven’t had a refund. AWFUL COMPANY

Be very cautious ordering from wilko: I ordered something weeks ago. Their courier delivered the item to the wrong address. I’ve had numerous people from wilko telling me they are looking into it. I’m seething with the incompetence, unprofessionalism, utter lack of customer care.

Just keeping you up-to-date I am now on 116 emails to Wilkinsons about my faulty sofa which I purchased the 28th of June last year. They just keep saying that it’s not faulty when it is I’ve never been treated in such an appalling way. The way I have by wilko I don’t know how they are trading and I think the trading stands should be informed about the way they treat people a sofa is faulty with a cut of pieces of foam in the back of the sofa cushions of all three of them and they won’t replace it. I’ve been emailing them since the seventh of the first 2025, like I said further up I am on 104 15 now emails and they are saying blaming me and then saying we will exchange the covers for the same ones that they say in our washable and have steps on the back so why would you have zips on the back of a sofa if it was not washable and that’s how I find the chopped up pieces of foam inside every cushion on the back of the sofa?

I am now on my 87 emails back and forward to them about my sofa which they are not exchange as it is faulty and keep blaming me. I don’t know how this company is running they have appalling customer service being emailing them since the seventh of the first 2025 and still no further on. I am sick to death of the emails. They just hope you given take your own money and run every possibility. they even asked me to take my review down when I was telling the truth and said they didn’t want to put it up. It didn’t meet their rules and regulations and asked me to write a new one after a joke.

Honestly, very poor, ordered a hoover, came without the battery or charger, requested to return it on the 3rd of January and been constantly told 'wait 48 hours for a response from the relevant department' obviously been waiting more than 48 hours, it's vile customer service and I'm still likely to be charged for a product I cannot physically use, trying to get a return address is like getting blood out of a stone. One star isn't a low enough rating more like -5 stars it's despicable, I highly recommend NO ONE shops online here

Paid £399 for a coffee machine on 1/1/25. Tracking shows it should be delivered on 7/1/25 but nothing came and no update. When contacted via email they just keep asking you the same information back and forth.

Black sofa was purchased in June of last this year went to take covers off to wash it and the inside of the filling which just bits of sponge in all three of them I’ve emailed them. I am still waiting for a response of what they are going to do, but this does not meet fire standards so I am quite concerned about having sofa in my house so I hope there’s going to take too long to resolve this issue
