Dreadful. Most of my order was 'lost in transit' although it took several weeks bouncing between Wilko and Hermes to discover this, and get my money back. The part of my order that was actually delivered was 2 director chairs, not cheap at £80, but I wanted something of good quality for my elderly parents to use when they come to visit. After about the third time I sat on the chair it broke (May 16th). I complained to Wilko, on 29th May I finally had a reply. I followed the instructions they gave and waited for the chairs to be collected, which they were not, apparently my emails had not been received, even though I replied exactly as instructed.
i tried to phone customer service but my calls were cut off after about 40 minutes of waiting, very frustrating. A week ago, after waiting over 90 minutes for an answer, I was assured that the faulty chairs would be collected today and the £80 refunded to my account. Neither has happened.
I have been invited to give feedback by Wilko, which I have done, but haven't even received an acknowledgement, let alone a response. I know times are difficult, but maybe I have been too polite, and that is why I have been treated with such a lack of regard and respect. Other companies I have dealt with at this time have treated me as a valued customer, I particularly recommend the Yorkshire Trading company. The claim made by Wilko that they care about their customers is a joke. The whole experience of trying to deal with them has been extremely stressful at a time when I could do without it. I wish I'd read the reviews before I ordered. Avoid like the plague, they are a nightmare.
