Package was delivered on a different day than the one I had been told. No contact whatsoever made to inform me . Left at a neighbouring house 3 doors away. When the package didnt artive I went in to tracking and saw a msg telling me this ....but delivery address of the house was not given...so ended up running around in the rain knocking on doors either side of my house trying to find " the neighbour" . Eventually rang DPD in Athlone, then the Dublin depot .Spoke to a girl who gave me the address of the house where the package was delivered. When I asked why the driver didn't mark down the address in the information to me she said " it s on the notes he supplied to us " !.... so if they are informed at the DPD office where the package is delivered that's all that matters, no need to give that information to the customer !!
