I had an Aquafficient water heater installed to replace an old (huge) water storage heater that heated a tank full overnight. Very inefficient as I didn't use much hot water. New system was fitted very quickly and efficiently with little fuss or mess. Works exactly as advertised - it uses virtually no electricity if you don't use water and hot water comes through virtually instantly. How efficient this is if you use a lot of hot water I don't know but for me it is ideal. Only negative is the cost - seems fairly high for what it is but no maintenance costs.
